Speaker’s Profile:

Prof. Xie Fei is the Director of the Economic High-Quality Development Research Center at Chongqing University of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. and is engaged in research on macroeconomics and industrial policy, international finance, international trade and RMB exchange rate risk management, asset valuation, and corporate merger strategies. Prof. Xie has led three National Social Science Fund projects (including one key project) and completed 11 provincial and ministerial-level projects as well as two major provincial and ministerial decision-making consultation projects. He has received six provincial and ministerial social science awards and one first prize for excellent teaching reform achievements at the university level. Prof. Xie has published five monographs and five textbooks, and has authored over 50 papers in important CSSCI journals. His policy advisory reports have received affirmative comments from national and Chongqing municipal government leaders.
