Speaker's Profile:

Yu Liping, Ph.D., is a professor and doctoral supervisor, currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Academic Evaluation and Science and Technology Statistics at Zhejiang Gongshang University. He also serves as the Deputy Director of the National Science and Technology Metrics and Information Metrics Committee. Prof. Yu specializes in the fields of scientific evaluation and techno-economics, with a strong focus on data science and metrics techniques. He excels in interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research. Prof. Yu has led five National Social Science Fund projects (securing three consecutive post-funded projects), nine provincial-level projects including those funded by the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences projects. He has published eight academic monographs and authored 15 SCI/SSCI papers as the first author or corresponding author, including six papers in JCR Q1 journals. He has also published over 300 CSSCI journal papers as the first author, with more than 60 papers in top-tier journals. Sixteen of his papers have been included in Xinhua Digest and China Social Science Excellence. Prof. Yu has been interviewed by numerous media outlets, including NATURE, THE (Times Higher Education), Chinese Social Sciences Today, Science and Technology Daily, and China Youth Daily. His blog has reached 6.15 million IP visits.

Speaker’s Profile:

Dr. Wu Lijuan holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is currently a teacher in the Department of Finance at the School of Finance, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. Her main research areas include poverty issues and inclusive finance. Dr. Wu has published several academic papers in journals indexed by CSSCI and has led or participated in multiple national and provincial-level projects. She teaches courses such as Finance and Central Banking.
