难忘之旅 ——赴泰国第九届大学生领袖研讨会学习感想

THANKS TO THE SCHOOL
First of all, I was fortunate to be selected as 1 of 1057 delegates from 87 countries who attended the 9th University Scholars Leadership symposium at the United Nations.
CONFERENCE
This conference changed me a lot, I met many new friends and learned much knowledge about different countries. After listening to the speeches of the lecturers, I had a new definition of life, I understand that there are still many people around me need to be helped and I can do many things that are meaningful to the society,like participating in refugee relief, or becoming an environmental volunteer, or speaking up for women's rights. I need to be confident and kind, I need to get real and not just talk about it. There are many people in this world who need our help, and it's time for us to act.
PUBLIC ACTIVITIES-ZOO
In public welfare activities, I chose to take the slum children to go to the zoo, I really can't believe that it was their first time to go to the zoo. I brought a girl called "YINGLAN", she was only three years old, I did what I can do, such as buying sugar for her, taking her in the toy car, etc. I did not spend much money, but it was still much to her. When she bought a bucket of popcorn, she did not eat alone. Instead, she bent down and fed it to me with her little hand. At that time, I was really touched. I have learned that no matter how rich or poor we are, we should learn to share and be grateful!
SUMMARAY
Finally I am grateful to the school for giving me such an opportunity to attend the United Nations conference. What I have learned cannot be fully expressed, but I believe it will be an unforgettable experience in my life!
