On May 22, the finals of the first “Colorful Yunnan Campus ‘Big Three’ Basketball Super League” University Group, hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and organized by the Yunnan Student Sports Association, were held at Yunnan Normal University. YUFE’s high-level men’s basketball team triumphed over the Yunnan Normal University basketball team with a score of 103-80, securing the championship with an undefeated record. Previously, our team had also defeated Yunnan Normal University at home with a score of 97-71.

The competition, which started in September 2023 and lasted for eight months, featured an innovative “Follow the High-Speed Rail to Compete” format, setting up home and away games across different cities. This approach not only elevated the competitive level of campus basketball in Yunnan Province but also expanded the sport’s social influence.
