Details of the Award-Winning Projects:
1. Research and Application of Catastrophe Risk Statistical Analysis Models:
This project addresses the challenges in risk assessment for catastrophe risk management by proposing multiple statistical models that objectively describe the characteristics of catastrophe risks. These models have been widely applied in catastrophe insurance and agricultural insurance, contributing significantly to the high-quality economic development and digital construction of Yunnan Province and integrating into the modernization of China's social governance system and governance capabilities.
Achievements include 32 papers published in SCI, SSCI, and CSSCI indexed journals, two monographs published by national-level publishers, five software copyrights, and completion of seven national-level and nine provincial-level projects.
The research outcomes are widely used by industry organizations such as Cheng Tai Property Insurance Company and Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd.
2. Integrated Air-Ground-Space Emergency Response and Green Regulation Key Technologies and Applications for Mountain Disasters:
This project explores the use of emerging digital technologies like integrated air-ground-space systems to empower high-quality innovation in rural revitalization in Yunnan. It has been widely applied in natural resource management, emergency management, firefighting and rescue, tourism and cultural industries, and plateau-featured modern agricultural industries.
Achievements include 14 published papers, one monograph, three invention patents, two utility model patents, and 15 software copyrights. The project has led or participated in one national-level and three provincial-level projects.
The research outcomes have been widely applied across multiple units.
3. Application of Cross-Border E-Commerce Data Security Sharing and Mining Technologies for South and Southeast Asia:
This project addresses the three major challenges of trust barriers, institutional barriers, and data barriers faced by cross-border e-commerce through research on data security sharing and mining technologies. It promotes continuous innovation and high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in Yunnan Province.
Achievements include nine published papers, one monograph, four invention patents, one utility model patent, and three software copyrights. The project has also formulated one local standard for Yunnan Province.
The research outcomes have been successfully applied and transformed within the three major cross-border e-commerce platforms in Yunnan Province and have led to the pioneering release of the "Blockchain Cross-Border Trade Application Service Guide" provincial standard, positioning cross-border e-commerce standardization efforts at the forefront nationally.
These achievements reflect the persistent efforts and significant contributions of YUFE’s scientific teams in advancing technological innovation and application, bolstering the university’s role in regional and international development.
